Commercial
AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings is a full service provider to the Commercial Aviation market. AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings is fully approved by the world’s Global OEM Companies, such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer and works closely with these companies to develop state-of- the-art coatings for a host of applications. Brands such as Aerodur Aviox and Eclipse (all low VOC) are recognized in the world of Exterior Systems for their durability, performance and ease of use, while Aerowave (of the waterborne structural range) and Aerodur (both low VOC and conventional coatings) are used as structural products for the protection of airframes. AOG delivery is offered for the MRO aftermarket and airline customers who need dependable service and robust application characteristics. For the cabin coatings market, Aerofine is the brand to which others compare. Topcoats are available for customers to install on site through mixing systems such as Mix2paint and Mix2win, helping customers reduce their carbon footprint and meeting their sustainability commitments.

Land Defense
AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings Intergard brand helps land defense customers meet high technical requirements while ensuring the coating process is as environmentally friendly as possible, thus helping customers meet sustainability commitments. The predominantly waterborne Intergard range offers a choice of priming systems for different substrate types as well as either high solids or waterborne chemical resistant coating (CARC) topcoats. These topcoats are certified to meet CARC requirements. The unique Intergard 10220 peelable coating means that quick camouflage change can be made for rapid reaction forces and peeled off after return from theatre. This reduces the impact of harmful strippers on the environment and speeds up the re-introduction of the asset into service. Intergard topcoats are available in a variety of colors and signature requirements including, amongst others, low infrared (LIR) and solar heat reflectance (SHR).
Military Air
AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings provide a comprehensive list of approved products for the military air market. This includes brands such as Aerodur high solids and Aerowave waterborne products. Products are approved to a number of specifications including US Mil spec, UK BSX and other military OEMs. Aerodur 2100Mgrp primer sets the global standard for chrome free anti corrosion performance.
